Biodome

It’s Grace. I’m writing about our trip to the Biodome yesterday. The line was super-long. It snaked around half of the floor. The first exhibit we went to was the rain forest zone. We saw a gray trumpeter standing on one leg, other birds, golden tamarins, and other monkeys. We also saw giant fish, piranhas, and bats. The bats were restless. When we were done in the rainforest, we were all ready to feel the arctic wind--but unfortunately, the penguins were all in cages. But the forest felt almost as good. In the forest, we saw birds, turtles, and a man with a poop game. We also saw dog fish. They were massive, shark-like fish. They were cool. We then went to the Gulf of St. Lawrence room. There were lots of birds in that room. You could see the top of the dogfish tank. There was a man with a table full of glasses that shows you how different animals see. After the Biodome, we walked back to the hotel. Overall, a good day.

  1. Hi Grace,
Sounds like I would have loved that place. I have one question for you. Did you guys participate in the poop game? Aunt Charmaine

  2. Hard to beat a "man with a poop game"! They sure do know how to engage the youth up there in Canada.
