The Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island, NS - August 18, Part 2

Skyline Hike

Hi! It's Grace. We finally arrived at the Skyline Trail, a two-hour hike Mom had planned for us.The trail was along the Cabot Trail, in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. A park ranger was at a table with various moose items. Here are some pictures from the hike.

First sign of moose - moose poop!

Mom, Zola, and the Cabot Trail- the road we drove on to get here!

Getting closer- moose tracks!

They placed a boardwalk over the vulnerable part of the ecosystem

A look-off (as they call it here) these views were amazing.
It's hard to tell  where the water ends and the sky starts

The road and a rocky cliff

Walking down to the furthest look off point

The Blue Team

Finally - a moose!

Finishing the hike
Emma is going to post about the last part of this day. Bye!
